2010 The Year of the All Inclusive Travel Deal

Much has been written about the state of the economy and its effect on travel. One thing I know is that people are still traveling. I am. And a lot of you are. I know, I know. The economy is still in the tank and everyone is holding on to their cash like it's the last time they'll ever see any. Here's the good news! For those of you who have a little money to burn, this is the best time of your life for a deal on luxury resorts in the Caribbean and Mexico.

To give you the real scoop, our supplier has been inundated with so many promotions and "discount" offers that they can't keep up with the loading of the rates in their online systems. You know what that means? Great deals are out there to be had. I just looked up some rates for a potential client yesterday and they could get a full week at an all inclusive resort in the Cancun/Mayan Riviera for $600/person with airfare INCLUDED! This wasn't some cheap charter flight on WHO KNOW'S Airlines. This was on Delta or US Air from Hartford, Connecticut. 7 nights, 8 days of all inclusive meals, drinks, accommodations, daily activities, nightly entertainment and tips!!! They could pay a little more and upgrade to a more luxurious hotel. You know why? Cause they are ALL on sale.

Hoteliers in Jamaica tell me they are selling more rooms this year than last, but the nightly rates are a lot less. That translates into a great deal for YOU. Don't miss out on these great rates for the last part of 2009 and early 2010. When the resorts are consistently full, then the nightly rates will go back up. NOW is the time!

Cash in your chips and get a great deal. Hold them and you will be guaranteed to spend more when the deals disappear. This is my tip for you. 2010 is the Year of the Travel Deal.

Til next time,
Tom
